How secure is online shopping? Is my data protected?

We take security seriously. All transactions on our website are processed by SagePay and are encrypted using High Grade 128 bit SSL Encryption.

What is SSL?

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a protocol for enabling data encryption on the intranet and for helping website users confirm the owner of the web site. SSL is most commonly used to protect communications between web browsers and servers. However it is increasingly used for server to server communications and for web-based applications.

What is encryption and why are there different levels?

Encryption is a mathematical process of coding and decoding information. The number of bits (40-bit, 56-bit, 128-bit, 256-bit) tells you the size of the key.

Like a longer password, a larger key has more possible combinations. When an encrypted session is established, the encryption level is determined by the capability of the web browser, SSL certificate, web server, and client computer operating system

What exactly happens after ordering?

Once the order has been confirmed you will receive an email with your specific order reference and approx delivery time. We ask that you check these details thoroughly and contact us immediately if any amendments are required. Once the order has been despatched you will receive another email with tracking information you can use online (if applicable).

Do I receive an invoice for my order?

Yes you do. All orders placed online will receive a VAT invoice for your reference. This will either be sent with the goods or via email.

Can you tell me how much fabric I need to order?

With the relevant details, we can calculate how much our workroom would require which should give you a good guide. However we would always recommend you get whomever is making the Curtains/Blinds for you to check how much fabric they will need.

How can I find out if the fabric I want is suitable for upholstery?

The majority of our OUTLET fabrics are suitable for Curtains, Blinds and Accessories and are supplied non-FR Treated. As these fabrics are end of line/discontinued I’m afraid the information regarding upholstery may no longer be available. We would recommend you get in touch with our Sales team before placing an order for upholstery use fabric. They can then discuss the order with you and investigate whether the fabric is suitable for your needs. Please note: there may be an additional charge if the fabric requires further treatment to make it compliant with current British legislation.

Can I order a sample of OUTLET fabrics?

Yes, we would always recommend that you have seen the fabric in person before placing your order. You are more than welcome to visit our shop and receive a cutting of the fabric to take home. Alternatively you can contact us for a FREE sample through the post. This can take a few working days to arrive to a standard UK address and would include the fabric details for your reference.

The fabric I've received is different to what I ordered, what can I do?

The product details provided (including vertical pattern repeat and useable width) as per the original Brand’s information. These measurements are provided as approximate figures and a certain level of tolerance is allowed. We are more than happy to investigate any discrepancies further and ask that you please get in touch as soon as possible via phone or email with your order details.

Can I order part metres from you?

Yes you certainly can. Our minimum order is 1 metre, but from thereon after we can accept orders for part-metres (to the nearest 10cm). Simply add the fabric to your shopping basket and type in the quantity you require (eg. 3.4).
